March 22, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #19 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #16-0086 FOR CUSTODIAL FLOOR CLEANING EQUIPMENT Description Bids to provide 'Custodial Floor Cleaning Equipment' were received from eight vendors on February 10, 2016. The bids of Buckeye - Tampa, Dade Paper Company, Faitella Enterprises, Gem Supply Company, Pyramid School Products, Resource One, Inc., Veritiv Operating Company, and West Florida Supply Company were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. This bid is for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Buckeye - Tampa, Dade Paper Company, Faitella Enterprises, Gem Supply Company, Pyramid School Products, Resource One, Inc., Veritiv Operating Company, and West Florida Supply Company, for 'Custodial Floor Cleaning Equipment' in an amount not to exceed $200,000.00, be approved as presented.
